The second place finisher of Team Bigae (lightweight)

The first race of the year, the Lightweight Team Bigae was marked with an extremely close finish, making for a promising start for all the factions, especially the Blue who managed to pull ahead during the last lap. The second race was exciting as well, but was not as close as the first.

The first race, in which the Red where heavily favored, both the Blue and Yellow factions went full out on the last lap, in which the Blue leader managed to overcome the Red just before the finish line. Yellow came in second, Red in third and Green coming in last. This was a huge upset for the Red Faction.

The Second race started out with the Reds and the Blues in the lead, and the favored Greens less than a meter infront of the unlikly Yellows. By the fifth lap, the Greens quickly passed the tired Reds and Blues to make a gap almost by a lap, finishing first, eventually followed by the Blues and Yellows, with another upset for the Reds, coming in last.

Sosettia became Fidelis’ regional WA Delegate early today, after The Monastic Federated States of Anaine lost its endorsment from the Oppressed Peoples of Methelod. This is coming after Sosettia re-joined the WA, after being ejected for inactivity. It is unknown how long Sosettia will hold the title, but after a press conference with the Secretary of Foreign affairs, David Mjioksta, said this “Sosettia will try to hold on to this title for as long as we can, and while holding on to it, we will exercise this power as actively, appropriately and fairly through out our term.

Sobisko, Sosettia—Wednesday, after three days of protests, a pro-democracy group (made up mainly of one of the nation’s minority groups) where ordered by police and the government to leave Sobisko Plaza and forbidden to commence an “unlawful” assembly again. Yesterday, near midnight Sosettian time, it was decreed (mainly by Govenor of the State Roseon Geotiva) that this protest was (as they said) an “unlawful assembly, and grave disturbance of the peace”. Police blocked off the square before dawn, preventing the protestors that return home for the night from entering the plaza. Protestors camped out in the square were asked to leave the plaza, or face being escorted forcefully. Enraged, protestors took to the streets, creating a full scale riot.

Police cars, Government Buildings and state owned office buildings where among some of the things set ablaze by the angry protestors. All businesses where closed, in fear of being swarmed and set ablaze by the mob. Citizens of Sobisko not part of the mob hid behind locked doors, in fears as well.

Sobisko,Sosettia–SUNDAY, a pro democracy group, made up mostly by one of the nations ethnic minority group, held a protest at Sobisko Plaza, demanding the government to allow a more democratic government and to stop corruption. The current government, which started out as a communist government has evolved to allow more economic and civil freedoms, but has lacked on political freedoms such as elections. The age old government (which is currently acting on a plan to de-centralize) claims that Sosettia has it very good.

The protesters, numbering in the tens of thousands, jammed into the plaza in the early morning. Despite being a relitivly peaceful protest, there where some squirmishes between the protestors and the police present. 6 arrests and no injuries have been reported. Govenor of the State Roseon Geotiva in a press confrence gives the protesters this warning “The USSS will not tolerate such a grave disturbtion of the peace, All protestors should simply quit befor this goes any further.”
